13th WHRCF Human Rights Paper Session (2023-10-05)

The Human Rights Paper Session at the 13th World Human Rights Cities Forum was co-organized by the CRD, the Gwangju International 

Center, International Centre for the Promotion of Human Rights at the Local and Regional Levels under the auspices of UNESCO/ UNESCO 

Chair in Human Rights and Human Security, University of Graz, and Raoul Wallenberg Institute, was held on October 5, 2023 at the Kimdaejung Convention Center (Conference Rooms 212-213). The event was co-sponsored by Gwangju Metropolitan City, UNESCO, UN Office of the High 

Commissioner for Human Rights, National Human Rights Commission, and Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education. 

Presentations were given on the theme "Inclusive Cities and Human Rights," with sub-themes including undocumented migrants, access to 

services (e.g., energy, healthcare), climate justice, the role of the third sector, persons with disabilities, minority groups, and the measurement of urban inclusivity.
