The 1st Gwangju-Jeonnam Megapolitan Cooperation Colloquium (2023), organized by the CRD and co-hosted by the CRD, CNU Dept. of 

Economics BK21FOUR, CNU BK4 Minus Platform Education Research Team, Gwangju Research Institute, Policy Inclusive Innovation Space, 

Citizens’ Coalition for Economic Justice (Gwangju), Gwangju-Jeonnam Innovation City Forum, and Namdo Tourism Forum, was held on July 13, 

2023 (Thursday) at the Choi Sang-jun Hall, CNU College of Business Administration. 

The key theme was "Local Era Gwangju, the Current Status and Challenges of Gwangju-Jeonnam Sub-Metropolitan Cooperation", featuring 

presentations on "The Current Status and Challenges of Gwangju-Jeonnam Megapolitan Cooperation in the Local Era" (Presenter: Dae-seong 

Kim, Substitute Research Fellow, Gwangju-Jeonnam Research Institute Community Research Lab) and "Current Status and Development 

Directions of Social Economy Support Organizations in Gwangju-Jeonnam" (Presenter: Jeong-yeon Park, General Manager, Jeollanamdo Rural 

Community Support Center).
