The 42nd Social Economy Colloquium, co-hosted by the CRD, Sallim Social Cooperative, GwangJu Support Center for Social Economy, Gwangju

Urban Regeneration Community Center, and Chonnam National University LINC+ Project Team, was held on March 17, 2021, using ZOOM.

The theme of the 42nd Social Economy Colloquium was 'Social Economy Organizations and Citizen-Engaged Energy Transition Cases:

Perspectives on Green New Deal and Energy Transition.' The event featured a presentation by Chang-soo Lee (Chairman, Ansan Sunlight

Generation Cooperative).

During this event, discussions took place on the awareness of the risks of climate crisis, the case of the Ansan Citizen Sunlight Generation

Cooperative for energy transition, and examples of citizen-engaged energy cooperatives nationwide. The participants delved into the

understanding and directions for the development of social economy organizations and citizen-engaged energy transition, particularly from

the perspective of the Green New Deal and energy transition.
