Publication of Planned Social Economy Book 3, 'A Policy and Practice o…

 Since being selected as a University-Affiliated Priority Research Institute by the Korea 

Research Foundation in 2014, the CRD has been publishing planned social economy 

books annually. This series was planned to address the demands for social innovation in response to the structural changes toward a low-growth society and a decrease in the 

working-age population, facing a new paradigm shift in Korean society. On August 30, 

2018, the third planned book titled "A Policy and Practice of Social Economy" was 

published. The book consists of a total of 7 chapters, covering the following key 

contents.

 The first chapter explores the diversity of 'society' and 'economy' in social economy, the second chapter delves into social enterprises and social responsibility, the third chapter discusses the combination of social economy and welfare, the fourth chapter explores 

the social economy and social services, the fifth chapter focuses on the social economy 

and social capital, the sixth chapter addresses the formation of social economy funds, 

and the seventh chapter deals with the revitalization of local communities and 

activation of social enterprises.
