33rd Social Economy Colloquium (2018-07-10)

The 33rd Social Economy Colloquium, co-hosted by the CRD, Sallim Social Cooperative, and the GwangJu Support Center for Social Economy, was held on July 10th, 2018 at the at the Choi Sang-jun Hall, CNU College of Business Administration. The invited 

speaker, Dr. Se-hoon Park (Research Fellow, Korea Research Institute for Human Settlements), delivered a presentation on the topic "Culture, Creativity, and Urban Development: How to Create a Cultural City?" Dr. Park discussed the limitations of creating a 'cultural city,' the role of creativity, and introduced examples such as 'DdoDdaDdoGa,' a cultural creation space in the central district of 

Busan, and the Japanese region 'Kajinawa,' designated as a UNESCO Creative. He emphasized the importance of horizontal 

partnerships, networks, and cultural intermediary organizations.​
