31st Social Economy Colloquium (2018-05-30)

The 31st Social Economy Colloquium, co-hosted by the CRD, Sallim Social Cooperative, and the GwangJu Support Center for Social Economy, 

was held on May 30th at the Gwangju NGO Center Community Hall. The invited speaker, Jeong-hwan Park (Director, Korea Social Innovation 

Finance), delivered a presentation on the topic "Concept and Cases of SIB (Social Impact Bond) domestically and internationally." The 

discussions covered various aspects, including the role of intermediary agencies in Korea's SIB, the capacity for bond issuance, incentives for 

beneficiaries to participate, the potential for job creation by implementing agencies, and the passion for local initiatives.
